JOHN TARPEY

John has been a part of The Unit Gym since the beginning of 2019, excelling as a member, competitor, and now part of our training staff. John is a Claregalway local - only a stone's throw away from The Unit Gym. He's often the first one through the door, last one to leave, and always on hand at short notice for a lifting session. John comes from a military background where fitness plays a massive part in his role. So if he isn't on the gym floor you can bet he's crawling around getting down and dirty! Teamwork and organisation is key to his professional career, which was also seen in his soccer and GAA days for St.Mary's College and Cregmore FC.
